Shrine of Remembrance

Shrine of Remembrance is a must visit place if you come to Melbourne. This is a place first built for Victorians to honor and grieve those who died while serving Australia in World War I. It was opened in November 1934, and since then a lot of memorials have been added. This beautiful building is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Located in the city of Melbourne, this place is very easy to reach. From Flinders Street station you can either walk or take tram to get to this full-of-historical-items building.

This is the second floor of the building. You can enjoy the view of the city from here

Next you can access the inside of the building through the first floor or the basement. In the inside, you will see lots of memorable items from history that would amaze you. Some of the items even scare me, for example this Katana below that are used by the Japanesse in the World War II

These are badges of those who served Australia in the World War. It is placed in the basement of the building
