Fides quaerens intellectum

When I was ill, suffered from acute faringitis (I dont know the name of the illness in english) in 2007, the doctor asked me to take so much pils. Some were bitter, some were sweet. I had to sleep in the hospital and let them inject me whenever they want.

I didn't like pil, even if it was sweet. I didn't know from what it was made, and how it could cure me. I didn't know the liquid they injected in to me, was it poisoned or not.

All I could do was trust the doctor and the paramedic. I believed that they weren't going to kill me, believed that the pils and all other medicine were right for my illness, and took it obediently.

After 8 days they let me go home because I was getting really better. But I still had to take much medicine for 2 months later. I was going to stop because I felt that I was absolutely okay, and I thought the medicine wasn't cheap, it would burdened my parents. But my parents told me to take it, for my health. I was sure they didnt know the ingredients of the medicine too but they did believe the doctor.

In short, I was cured, faster from what the doctor had predicted. That was because I did what he told me obediently, even when I didnt understand it.

Fides quaerens intellectum, faith seeking understanding.
